The purpose of this poster was to illustrate the American cuisine "Gumbo" from the Pappadeaux restaurant. The poster was inspired by New Orleans' Bourbon Street. Although the restaurant is not located in New Orleans, the illustration provides the illusion of feeling as though you are on Bourbon Street when you are eating the food.

The line work as well as the color is loose and flowing just like the soup-like food. The playfulness and sophistication of the piece reflects the tone of the restaurant.
